Day 4 July 18,2007
Got some disappointing news at 11:30 am today. The World Child staff phoned telling us that the officials are too busy to perform our Giving and Receiving ceremony. So possible tomorrow Thursday July 19. Please pray that we will be on our way tomorrow.
Jeff will post later on our adventures for the day.

I am sorry for you, what a rollercoaster! We are waiting for travel dates now over 11 weeks and are always told something is up with the officials. You are so close, I'll pray for Thursday.
Hang in there . . . we will pray that Thursday is the magnificent day! I can't imagine 'the officials' having anything more important to do than the G & R!

The anticipation to hear your wonderful news is huge, so I can't imagine how you are all feeling having to wait! I'm sorry to hear of your setback. I hope Thursday is the day! I am so enjoying reading your blog, especially since we will be travelling with our 6 year old son. I'll bet you my son will be the same with the street vendors and the pizza will be perfect for him too! GOOD LUCK on Thursday!

Oh, come on already..you've been waiting long enough! can ya tell, i'm really getting into this! i enjoy checking/reading this everyday. I'm so glad Logan finally got some decent(!) food..and now he'll want pizza daily (and the taxi ride is a plus!).Hopefully when i check back tomorrow, it will say GREAT news. we're thinking about ya...lots!

We have really loved reading your blog each day and seeing the pictures. Lucas wanted to know if Logan rode one of the scooters!!
The boys and I are headed to California tonight. We will be anxious to see pictures of Gracie on the blog when we get home the evening of the 25th. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all of you each and every day.

Hang in there guys!! We have been checking in all the time. Don't worry you will have Gracie in your arms soon. I can't wait to meet her. Alex has a lot of questions about the trip. He wants to tell Logan hi!! Jeff you are a great story teller. I think you need to write a book. We are praying fo you!! Your patience is being tested. You will need that when you get home. She will be a teenager some day!!
